My name is Greg Wharton (www.GregWharton.com). I'm an award-winning author, editor, and publisher living in the Redwoods in Western Sonoma County, just a throw away from the Russian River and a short journey to the Pacific Ocean. I’m 47. After a lifetime of what is best called magpie spirituality, where I study all and take the bright shiny best parts of different traditions that appeal to me the most, I have found a solid foundation to my conjure and spirituality with the use of Hoodoo Rootwork. I’m a graduate of Catherine Yronwode’s Hoodoo and Rootwork Correspondence Course. I’ve also completed a personal Apprenticeship Program with Catherine Yronwode and Lucky Mojo Curio.
During my days, I work for Lucky Mojo Curio (www.LuckyMojo.com) producing many of the amazing hand-made magical Hoodoo-focused supplies such as oils, incense, sachet powders, baths, Mojo Hands, and spell kits that they sell.
I’m a psychic reader. My preferred and most-used Tarot cards is the Cosmic Tribe Tarot deck. In addition to the Tarot, I use my pendulum (a Shiva Lingum stone) for readings—and when personal my own Jack Ball. I practice Ceromancy (wax burn divination) in support of my Candle Setting. I also have been fortunate to have experienced psychic dreams throughout most of my life.
I’m a Level Two Reiki (Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage) Practitioner and am working toward my Master Level. I do hands-on and long-distance healing. I also use my Reiki energy channeling in my healing conjure and spiritual work.
I’m an ordained minister (Universal Life Church) and can officiate personal and official services or ceremonies such as weddings, funerals, baptisms, blessings, cleansings, celebrations, and rites of passage.
